Have anywhere from $4,551 to $5,751 laying around? That’s what it costs per couple this year to attend Ultimo — A Weekend of Excellence when it takes over the Venetian Dec. 9-11.
Of course, the event includes a roster of celebrity chefs as well as wineries from around the world, along with decadent events packing the entire weekend.
Guests can go on a Rolls-Royce driving experience, a hot-air balloon ride and Dom Perignon picnic at Red Rock Canyon National Recreation Area. Louis Vuitton even throws an event at its new boutique inside the Grand Canal Shoppes.
A portion of the proceeds from the weekend-long event will benefit ment'or BKB Foundation, a nonprofit that helps young professionals in the culinary industry.
The big event for the weekend, the Grand Banquet, features chefs Thomas Keller of Bouchon, French Laundry and Per Se fame; Jérôme Bocuse, son of legendary French chef Paul Bocuse; Curtis Stone of Maude in Beverly Hills and Gwen in Hollywood; Shaun Hergatt, formerly of Juni in New York City; Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger and Blue Dragon in Boston; Vikram Vij of Vij's in Vancouver; Pierre Thiam of Pierre Thiam Catering, formerly of Le Grand-Dakar in New York City; Paul Bartolotta of The Bartolotta Restaurants Group in Milwaukee; and Emma Bengtsson of Aquavit in New York City.
Guests sit at an enormous table that spans the entire Grand Colonnade of the Venetian. Dom Perignon, DAOU Vineyards, Marqués de Murrieta, Memento Mori and Pio Cesare pour pairings with the meal.
Tickets start at $4,551 per couple for a luxury suite package that includes a luxury suite, car service to and from the airport, Belvedere and caviar welcome reception at Paiza Club, a hot air balloon trip or Rolls-Royce driving experience, Dom Pérignon picnic, Louis Vuitton fashion experience, the Grand Banquet, Lalique after party, and farewell brunch at Hacienda Patrón. The $5,751 takes guests through a similar experience, but they stay in a Renaissance suite.
