Official word on the opening of the first two Chick‐fil‐A locations in Nevada has upgraded the timetable from "early 2017" to a definite, set your calendars, January debut for both Henderson outposts.
Hiring is now being conducted inside temporary trailers at both locations and local rumor has touted the Eastern Ave. site will be open on Jan. 26 for some time. The company's official countdown guide to future openings does not list either Henderson branch opening their doors before Jan. 12.
Located at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Ione Road, inside a former Nacho Daddy restaurant and at 460 N. Stephanie St., just south of Sunset Station and the Galleria at Sunset, both Chick‐fil‐A fast casual restaurants will include indoor seating for more than 100 guests, outdoor patios, indoor playgrounds and a drive-thru service.
Franchise owners Dan Mullin and Dave Taplin have relocated from Utah and Arizona to take over these expansions.
Next on the horizon, work continues on the third local Chick-fil-A and the first in Las Vegas, at the northeast corner of Sahara Avenue and Rancho Drive and the still to be announced fourth outpost, at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and George Crockett Road. Both are expected to be ready later in 2017.
