For many first time visitors to the new Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino, the prospect of an authentic dim sum experience so close to Strip will be a main attraction. Located on the mezzanine level, Pearl Ocean is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m during the week and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m on the weekend.
Featuring private booths against the wall, dim sum carts will weave their way through the room's numerous tables in the main dining room.
On the menu, a "Five Guy Juicy Dumpling Sampler" for $12.88, three squid ink pork dumplings "Chiu Chow" style for $6.88 and two whole abalone minced chicken tarts for $10.88. "Small Eats" include the $8.88 crispy tofu and the $15.88 "jelly fish and ham hock."
"Peking duck 2-way" is priced at $68, while roasted duck is $38 for a whole bird. Among the chef's recommendations, smoked sea bass for $38, "pea shoots with bean curd skin in fish broth" priced at $25 and "wine stewed ox-tail in pumpkin bowl" for $38.
