You wouldn't know it from the Tropicana Las Vegas' website or social media, but if you head up the escalator to Biscayne Steak Sea Wine, the only thing currently visible is a long row of black curtains hiding the largest face lift for the restaurant since its 2010 debut.
Reservations are currently being taken for a return on Monday Jan. 2 and a great deal of work is being dedicated to remodel the patio within the next month. An estimated and surprisingly pricey $220,000 has been allocated in construction costs for the upgrade. All current paperwork still refers to the project as "Biscayne" and does not re-brand the space.

Elsewhere at the resort, work continues on creating the new dining annex that will house celebrity chef Robert Irvine's first Las Vegas restaurant and a yet to be confirmed second project, expected to feature some coastal roots.
Irvine's yet to be named venture is planning a July 2017 arrival.
