At long last, a Chicago favorite deep dish pizza restaurant makes its debut in Las Vegas. Giordano’s is now dishing at the Grand Bazaar Shops. The restaurant sits above Starbucks and across from Wahlburgers and the under construction Redneck Riviera. The Strip location will be available for lunch, dinner and carry out.
Guests can opt to dine inside the 4,000-square-foot restaurant, which also features its own bar, or enjoy an al fresco people watching experience at their 1,718-square-foot partially enclosed patio on the Grand Bazaar's central promenade. Customers can also sit around the patio bar.
Created in 1974 on the south side of Chicago, Giordano's now operates 50 outposts in Illinois, plus locations in Florida, Indiana, Arizona and Minnesota.
Aside from deep dish creations that can stand two inches tall, Giordano’s will offer thin and extra-thin crust pizzas, plus Italian-inspired foods including salads, pastas, sandwiches and desserts.
The thick and super messy deep dish is built in layers, with a buttery crust as the foundation, toppings and then cheese. Giordano’s then covers its pizza with an airy layer of dough to help hold the toppings with a thick, rich tomato sauce. Come with an appetite and expect to wait for both a table and your pie.
