Coffee connoisseurs have a new destination to discover in the Arts District, at the newly opened Vesta Coffee Roasters, located close to the intersection of Casino Center and Charleston Boulevards, inside the shuttered, 2,169-square-foot Reclaimed Art Suppliez store.
The light, airy and spartan coffee shop features table seating and the option to sit on stools at the counters, or in front of the large window facing the future home of Wowie Tacos across the street. The rear of Vesta is dominated by a huge Probat coffee roaster.
On the current menu, $3 espressos, $3.25 macchiatos and $4.50 lattes. Specialties include a $5 matcha latte and a $5 "Aztec hot chocolate." Pour over options include the $5.50 "Ethiopia Sidamo Rophi."
On the food menu, choices include the $4 "everything seasoned croissant with house made fromage blanc," a $4.50 "milk & honey" tartine, their $6 soup of the day with "cheesy toast dippers" and sandwiches like the $6 egg salad and a $7 "Hawaiian Benedict," created with "easy egg, Spam, cheddar and Sriracha mayonnaise."
And if you develop a habit for their caffeine jolts, but find yourself closer to Fremont East, Vesta’s espresso, cold brew and nitro on tap have also become part of the beverage options at Donut Bar on 6th St.
