The spirit of a Nashville dive bar has been exported to the MGM Grand and Losers Bar is now officially open all year round and not just for the National Finals Rodeo. Opening night was launched with an appearance by "neo-honky tonker" Mark Chesnutt, an indication of the star names the venue hopes will regularly drop by and perform on their small corner stage.

Open daily from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and warning "this life ain't for everybody," they proudly boast the bar is an "intimate, no-frills venue for live music." The venue was created in Nashville in 2005, with Erv Woolsey, manager of country legend George Strait, as a co-owner.

Don't expect a selection of fancy cocktails and the bar only offers eight beers on tap, but they have brought along their potent, signature frozen "Bootwacker" concoction, built with "rums, Patron Coffee, Godiva chocolate liqueur, Kahlua liqueur, ice cream, milk, Bootwacker bottled French vanilla syrup, Bootwacker non-dairy based powder, and water."
