Less than a year after opening, the Downtown Crown in the Arts District shuttered on Charleston Boulevard.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the restaurant now sports a sign that says the shutter is only temporary while the restaurant works on a reorganization.
Co-owner Ron Schultz tells the paper that “he’s negotiating with the landlord and fine-tuning the concept, but declined to comment further.”
The sister restaurant to the two Crown & Anchors served up British fare 24 hours a day. The English pub includes a large patio area in the former Bar & Bistro space.
The menu featured fish and chips, steak and kidney and cottage pies, lamb stew resting inside a giant Yorkshire pudding, a Ploughman's Lunch and an English staple, the chip butty, better translated as a French fry sandwich.
Neither of the other Crown & Anchor locations closed.
