Take a look inside Virgil’s Real Barbecue, the mammoth new restaurant now dishing at The Linq.
Once inside the former home of F.A.M.E., the 300 guests who can dine at once inside the 14,000-square-foot restaurant find three patios and another trio of private dining rooms.
The space is outfitted with reclaimed wood sourced from vintage barns across the Southern states and décor gathered from barbecue joints around the country.
The decor all reflects the barbecue served here, a combination of the best dishes found in Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, the Carolinas and Missouri. A road trip across the South inspired the menu of Memphis pork ribs and chicken, Carolina pulled pork and Texas beef brisket. Find those recipes in Virgil’s Barbecue Road Trip Cookbook.
Behind the bar, find 14 beers, including Virgil’s Ale from Magic Hat and Lonestar on tap. Vegas-sized offerings include the Party in a Jar, featuring seven varieties of cocktails served in one-gallon Mason jars, and the option to have any beer on tap served in an oversized barrel.
