Chin Chin Café & Sushi Bar has officially returned to full strength at New York-New York following weeks of remodeling. Managing to stay open during most of the work, the Asian fusion restaurant has now revealed an almost completely new look.

Part of the resort’s dining options since opening day on Jan. 2, 1997, the 4,847-square-foot space was allocated an estimated construction budget of $1,271,607 for the makeover, specially designed to upgrade the front entrance.

The raw bar has been removed and a long bar to the right of the space is now the main focal point, featuring a couple of television screens mounted above it.

The dark and red color palette has been replaced with a lighter, more airy atmosphere, adding high two-top tables in the front lounge and plenty of seats at the bar. Chin Chin has kept its menu and daily opening hours of 11 a.m to midnight.

Las Vegas is the sole, non-California location for the Los Angeles-based brand, operated by the Wanton Group since 2012. They also run L.A.’s Medusa Lounge and the upcoming The Butcher, The Baker & The Cappuccino Maker on Sunset Blvd.
