One of the biggest dining debuts of 2016 will begin the new year serving "plant-based fast food" to a whole new neighborhood.

VegeWay is expanding from the southwest to Centennial, taking over a shuttered Braddah's Island Style drive-thru restaurant at the intersection of Centennial Pkwy. and Durango Dr.

VegeWay creator, chef Kenny Chye of Veggie House, has announced on Facebook they will be open for business on Jan. 15.

The interior looks much the same as when it was vacated by Braddahs, including the soda machines still displaying an Island Style logo.

A menu from the original VegeWay is displayed in the window of their new home, assuring customers the "all vegan drive-thru" will be bringing over their vegan burgers, vegan popcorn chicken, French fries, sweet potato fries, curly fries, VegeWay patties, vegan fish tacos, fried zucchini, a vegan beef sandwich, a vegan chicken wrap and vegan milkshakes.

Opening hours have yet to be revealed, but at the corner of Jones Boulevard and Robindale Road they serve daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
