Joe Maxx Coffee Co.
Address: 500 East Windmill Lane, #175
Status: Open daily from 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Joining a new wave of coffee houses currently sprouting around the region, Ohio’s Joe Maxx Coffee Co. has launched their first Las Vegas location in a 5,250-square-foot corner spot at the Windmill Retail Plaza, next door to Miko's Izakaya and close to Bachi Burger.
Serving breakfast all day, on the beverage menu, a broad variety of coffee options including Cubanos and flat whites, plus a cold brew on nitro tap, organic teas and an evolving roster of daily specials. "Signature Pours" include the "Black & Tan" mocha, steamed with "creamy peanut butter."
Wraps range in price from $6 to $7 and include a turkey bacon pesto and an "avocado veggie." A $4.50 "quiche of the day," joins sweeter options like cinnamon rolls, Danishes, beignets, muffins and scones.
The space features table seating and a leather sofa paired with a coffee table and a Scrabble board game.
Debuting in 2011, this will be the company's fourth location, joining outposts in Cleveland and Youngstown, Ohio and Englewood, Florida. The company name, logo and brand are built around a fictitious World War II pilot who transported coffee after the war. A plane crash laden with a cargo of beans forced the fighter ace to launch his first coffee house right where the plane had ditched.
