One of the amenities at Lucky Dragon, Cha Garden, the tea lounge next to the hotel lobby. The space leads to the pool area at the resort to create an indoor-outdoor tea garden and lounge.
Lola Zhao, Las Vegas’ only tea sommelier, leads guests through the list of 50 teas from Asia. Part of her duties includes Gongfu tea service, where guests arriving at the resort receive a tiny cup of tea as a greeting. Inside Cha Garden, Zhao can steep leaves as many as six times to create a different flavor, part of a 45-minute service guests can choose.
Cha Garden also serves up yum cha, basically light snacks that are like Chinese tapas, for a more casual experience or a completely formal tea service.
A full bar, beer, wine and cocktails are also part of this space, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Take a look inside.
