Chef Nittaya Parawong's secret has always been her family recipes, not the location of Summerlin restaurant at Lake Mead and Rampart, but a new extension will almost double the space of the very popular Thai and tapas concept.
Promised to be available soon, the new room at Nittaya's Secret Kitchen will almost double the space, adding 1,085 square feet to the currently cosy 1,115-square foot restaurant. Nittaya's also hosts a 300-square-foot patio.
Open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m and from 4 p.m to 10 p.m on Sunday, Nittaya's debuted in 2010, a sequel to now closed Jasmine Thai Gourmet.
On the menu, Parawong offers guests plenty of range in choice and price-point, including a roster of $11 lunch specials and popular selections like the "Crying Tiger" steak, their twist on traditional curries and pad Thai, a broad wine selection and their signature, "World Famous Spinach Salad," made with tempura wrapped spinach leaves and lime dressing with chicken.
