Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas seems to confirm insinuations that Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill is not long for this world in Las Vegas. The restaurant from Eric and Bruce Bromberg opened in 2010 on the third level of the resort. Word came out last October that Zuma, the London sushi restaurant, was coming to Las Vegas, taking over the P3 Studio right across from Blue Ribbon Sushi. Construction walls surround the space now with Zuma touted as coming soon. The London-born concept brings a sushi counter and robata grill when it debuts in the fall.

That’s pretty much what Blue Ribbon offers. Cosmopolitan sent out a statement about the future of Blue Ribbon on Friday night.
Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas are working together to develop an exciting new concept in the restaurant’s current location. The venue will temporarily close for these changes in late 2016 and expects to make more information available in the coming months. Blue Ribbon has seen great success since the opening of the resort and everyone involved looks forward to strengthening the partnership even further.
The Bromberg brothers also have a brasserie in Manhattan and Brooklyn, the "quintessential destination worthy neighborhood place" The Ribbon in Manhattan, a bakery, bars, Brooklyn Bowl found at The Linq and Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken at Downtown Summerlin.
