Ten months since first revealed, Olivia's Latin Cuisine Bar & Mariscos will finally arrive later this month, providing a major upgrade to the Boulevard Mall's dining options. Created by Faviola Trujillo, a force behind two local outposts of Taco Y Taco Mexican Eatery, befitting their name, Olivia's will place a strong emphasis on seafood dishes.
Now promoting a March 22 opening date, Olivia's occupies a substantial 5,318-square-foot space, created with an estimated half a million dollar budget. The exterior entrance is in the middle of the mall, or guests can walk-in directly from inside the mall. Already hinted for the menu, Mexican inspired dishes, tequila, ceviche, chuleta de puerco and shrimp campechana.
And if you prefer to enjoy your fish in a naturally inspired environment, the mall will be adding a 25,000-square-foot Sea Quest Aquarium this fall. An expansion from their original aquariums in Austin and San Antonio, later this year you'll be able to view Sea Quest's seahorses, sharks, octopuses, stingrays, tropical fish, sea turtles and sea otters.
