Fans of José Andrés’ Ku Noodle better get in before April 1. That’s when his ode to noodles at SLS Las Vegas shutters for good.
The resort sent out a statement on Monday night stating that "SLS Las Vegas and ThinkFoodGroup have mutually agreed to close Ku Noodle as of April 1. SLS Las Vegas looks forward to continuing its collaboration with Chef Andrés on the award-winning Bazaar Meat and working together on the property's evolving dining offerings."
Ku Noodle with its all-white and metallic interior opened when SLS debuted in 2014. Guests can watch the kitchen at work through a window from the casino floor into the kitchen that specializes in handmade noodles and siu mai dumplings.
It’s replacement? "We are evaluating options but don’t have anything to announce yet," a spokesperson for SLS says.
In 2014, SLS closed its buffet two months after opening. At the time, resort officials promised to reopen the buffet in 2015. That hasn’t happened yet.
