Finally, Dave & Buster’s, the monster entertainment complex that repeatedly advertises in the Las Vegas market, announced that it plans to open this summer at Downtown Summerlin, news Eater Vegas reported last October.
Eater Vegas first reported that Dave & Buster’s first tipped their hat of a Vegas venture back in October, and now confirms a 33,000-square-foot space as predicted on Park Centre Drive. The company plans to open in the same building as a Lane Bryant clothing store and the new, forthcoming Vent Blotique salon, themselves expanding from Texas.
The Dallas, Texas-based company plans to spend $3 million on construction alone on the Downtown Summerlin location.
Guests play games for tickets on the "Million Dollar Midway" and redeem the winnings for physical prizes. The concept was born in 1982 when two rivals, one named Dave, the other Buster, joined forces to create one Dallas establishment.
The company operates 82 large-venue, high-volume restaurant and entertainment complexes throughout North America.
