Get ready to "Eat. Drink. Play." at Downtown Summerlin later this year when the long-rumored first Las Vegas home of Dave & Buster's is positively confirmed and the company is not holding back on the size and budget of the expansion.
The substantial 33,845-square-foot gaming, dining and drinking destination will sit at 2130 Park Center Dr., in the same building as a Lane Bryant clothing store and the new, forthcoming Vent Blotique salon, themselves expanding from Texas.
Dave & Buster's estimated construction costs alone will reach $3,338,418, creating enough room for a potential 1,517 occupants. The space will drift far back into the building from Park Center Drive and strategically sits opposite the entrance to the Regal Downtown Summerlin 5 movie theater.
This location has been actively hiring for more than six months, but cleverly managed to hide the exact work address, while also refusing to confirm the project's status or offer a hint of an opening date.
Commercials for Dave & Buster's are a familiar fixture on Las Vegas television, but fans currently still need to travel 230 miles to the Ontario Mills mall in Ontario, Calif., for their closest fix of a "Fun American New Gourmet" menu, "the best sports bar ever!" and dozens of traditional and high-tech games of chance.
