In 2014, California-based chain The Habit Burger Grill announced they would enter the hotly fought local war for your burger dollar by building 15 locations around Las Vegas. The first debuted in August 2015 at the Hughes Center and work will soon be begin on the second.
The specialists in char-grilled burgers will take over 2,618 square feet of space at the Blue Diamond Ranch Center, at the intersection of Decatur and Blue Diamond. They will slot next to Cafe Rio and also spread into the adjacent, shuttered Beanz Coffee Cafe.
The Habit, as it likes to be known, differentiates itself from the legions of burger competitors by adding a signature char flavor to the patties through cooking on an open flame. Their go-to menu choice is the Charburger, created with "mayonnaise, pickle, fresh tomato, lettuce and caramelized onions on a toasted bun."
The double-sized plot has allocated an estimated $474,852 in construction costs. Habit Burger have yet to announce the expansion or release a schedule for their arrival.
