Another day in the Las Vegas burger wars and another new expansion by a national chain into Henderson. Farmer Boys will debut their eighth local casual restaurant later this year on the southwest corner of Stephanie and Wigwam.
The 3,185-square-foot project will also feature a drive-thru window. The development will add a separate 4,550-square-foot retail building a few steps away that could also add more dining opportunities.
The chain promises the exterior will be designed in a "Southwest Modern style with a colorful earth tone palette that reflects our desert environment." Opening hours will be from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Farmer Boys arrived in Las Vegas in July 2008 and now circle the city with seven locations from Centennial to their original Spring Valley site at Decatur and Russell. The company promotes and has trademarked the phrase "World's Greatest Hamburgers." Created with "farm to table" ingredients their menu has also gained a following for their breakfast selections, including burritos, french toast, omelets and egg plate specials. A proposed opening date has yet to be announced.
