A new Korean barbecue option has arrived at the corner of Rainbow Boulevard and Robindale Road, offering dishes such as Wagyu rib eye and sirloin, black tiger shrimp and pork belly prepped to grill at your table.
The 5,000-square-foot space close to Omoide Noodles & Bowls features high ceilings and mirrored ventilating air ducts. Guests are welcomed by staff flanked by tall sculptures and given the choice of regular seating, or removing their shoes and sitting on cushions in an open booth.
The $85 beef and pork platter, good for four of five people, also provides a good overview of their selections. The platter offers prime rib eye, Wagyu top sirloin, prime chuck flat, Wagyu short plate, thinly sliced prime brisket, pork belly, spicy marinated thinly sliced pork and marinated sliced rib eye. Selections for two or three guests are priced between $42 and $65.
Lunch specials from 11.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. include the $15 Yukhoe Bibimbap, featuring rice with Korean beef tartare and stir fry vegetables and the Samgye Tang, priced at $16, a whole young chicken stuffed with ginseng, sticky rice, Korean date and garlic and promoted as an energy-boasting meal
A variety of side options include potato and side salads, egg, kimchi soup and daikon and the drinks menu features Chum Churum and their "signature beer" choices in peach and lychee flavors.
