Last month an uncovered paper-trail connected cult java joint Dutch Bros. Coffee to a second, 24-hour home, seven miles south from their current Tropicana base.
Now, comes solid confirmation from local commercial real estate brokers Logic, who is actively promoting the upcoming expansion to entice other new tenants to the Windmill Retail Plaza.
Dutch Bros. Coffee location - Map: Logic Commercial Real Estate
Located on the corner of Windmill Lane and Amigo Street, the empty pad has been created specifically to allow for a drive-thru. Dutch Bros co-founder Travis Boersma leased 9,000 square feet of plaza space through his company BB Holdings NV LLC. New franchises are required to be that large to accommodate single or double drive-thru access. The locations also need to be in highly visible areas and on roads that see more than 15,000 vehicles driving by every day.
Known for their loyal Dutch Mafia fan base and their Colombian, Brazilian and El Salvadoran bean blended coffee, the company sports over 250 locations, but is "only looking to grow into AZ, CA, CO, ID, NV, & WA."
No scheduled opening date or confirmation from Dutch Bros has been announced.
