The still-growing restaurant scene at Downtown Summerlin shows no sign of slowing down and is now confirmed to be bringing Maggiano's Little Italy to the northern section of the outdoor mega-mall. The popular chain will slot into the "Dining Arroyo" district, already home to California Pizza Kitchen and the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.
Maggiano's owner Brinker International operates and franchises 1,647 restaurants, with 51 under the Maggiano's Little Italy brand and 1,596 Chili's Grill & Bar locations. Maggiano's debuted their 325-seat, upper level, Fashion Show mall home in 2004.
On the large menu, equally large portions of Italian-American dishes, including pastas, salads, steaks and fish. The company recommends their rigatoni, baked ziti and sausage, lobster ravioli and the chocolate zuccotto cake as repeat customer favorites. Summerlin is promising to add a carry-out option.
Announced as "coming soon," Maggiano's will join summer arrival Dave & Buster's and Seattle's The Matador aiming for a July 4 debut.
