Take a look at the menu from Borracha, the new Mexican restaurant from Clique Hospitality opening at Green Valley Ranch on May 5. Chef Jesus "Chuy" Villegas plans to serve up a menu of shareable plates and burritos. The tacos here are made with handmade tortillas and meats that range from rotisserie chicken, slow-cooked short ribs and Baja fish. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available.
On Tuesdays, Borracha plans to feature all-you-can-eat and-drink tacos and tequila.
The restaurant also plans to have a happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. with dishes such as skewers "al pastor" with carne asada, roasted pineapple salsa and masa or smoked chicken taquitos paired with pico de gallo and house-made pablano sour cream. All items are priced at $6.
The decor here features a Day of the Dead look with skulls watching over guests, a hand-painted floor, dark wooden beams and a wraparound graffiti mural by Mexican artist Oscar Flores.
