Craft beer and "extraordinary food" are headed to the Tuscany Suites & Casino. Former Mexican restaurant and bar The Cantina has closed to make way for a major dining upgrade to the locals casino on Flamingo.
Pub 365 will take over the 2,400-square-foot space and create a "craft beer pub," stocking 365 beers to justify their name. A new menu will also be added, suspected to be casual American fare. For construction costs alone, the project had been allocated an estimated budget of $400,000. No further details have been revealed, but the Tuscany does promise the makeover is "coming soon."
The Tuscany debuted in 2001 as a hotel, then in 2003 added the casino, creating a rival to close neighbors Ellis Island Casino, which has featured its own onsite brewery since 1998.
An ongoing series of remodels at the Tuscany include the 2015 arrival of the Italian-inspired Caffe Bottega coffee spot and a major revamping of their frequently retro-Vegas inspired entertainment line-up, anchored by the long running "The Rat Pack is Back" stage show, previously a resident of the Rio.
