Promising "class, not trash," bikini baristas are returning to Las Vegas for the first time in almost a decade, as Cowgirls Espresso prepares to unveil their coffee stand and skimpy uniforms on the west side. Created by Lori Bowden in 2002, at one time the chain operated 27 locations, concentrated in the Seattle and Tacoma, Washington, area.
Now down to 11 pink, black and white Friesian cattle-inspired stands, their Nevada expansion will begin serving at the Renaissance West Retail Center soon, a few blocks from the Palms and already home to the Fat Greek, The Boiling Crab and Sammy's Original Dog.
Cowgirls Espresso's menu features lattes, mochas, smoothies, pastries and Italian sodas. Their signature drink is the "Buckin' Bronco," created with "four espresso shots and 32 ounces of your favorite cold beverage."
The staff costumes are themed daily and include "Military Monday, "School Girl Thursday" and "Fantasy Friday." Opening hours in Las Vegas have yet to be announced.
Last December, a still-to-be revealed company was attempting to bring a bikini barista stand to Henderson, almost 10 years after locals Sexxpresso shuttered their coffee spot, which sold coffee in A, B and Double D cup sizes.
