PALMS — Get ready for big changes at the resort. Station Casinos plans to buy the resort for $312.5 million. The deal should be complete in the third quarter. On the restaurant side, that means the Culinary Union, which has been trying to organize workers there and has long clashed with Station, will have to negotiate a new deal. The deal follows Boyd Gaming’s plans to buy Aliante Casino in North Las Vegas for $380 million as well as two Cannery casinos for $230 million. [Vegas Inc]
