Chef Bryan Ogden has confirmed he will be returning to Las Vegas and he's happy his latest dining venture will not be on the Strip. As previously revealed, Ogden is partnering with owner and operator JP Teresi on The Mixx Grill & Lounge at Boca Park, creating a self-described, "premier dining destination for locals."

Taking over the shuttered, 9,000-square foot Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, The Mixx will sit next door to Panacea Tea & Elixir Bar from Shane Stuart, scheduled to open this summer. The Mixx will make it under the wire for a spring debut, with the grill now announcing they will debut on June 18, three days later than their earlier projection.

In a new promotional video, Ogden is promising he and Teresi will be at the restaurant "every night," explaining, "this is not the Strip, but if i was anywhere off the Strip, this is where I'd be".

Ogden, the son of celebrated former Vegas chef Bradley Ogden, was most prominently last seen locally overseeing Munchbar at Caesars Palace. Teresi was the former general manager of Bradley Ogden at Caesars Palace and until last year, the general manager of Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris Las Vegas.

Teresi has been promoting Mixx as featuring "some of the top DJs from around the world," with a decor of "a myriad of vivid colors and breathtaking design elements."

The early plans for Ogden's menu include "choices of 28 social plates, world-influenced and inspired cuisine & cocktails."
