Beauty & Essex sure knows how to make a first impression. During the opening of the restaurant from Tao Group and Chopped judge Chris Santos at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Sunday night, Norwegian deejay, songwriter and producer Kygo launched his own Cloud Nine "S’mores" dessert, now featured on the restaurant’s menu.

Earlier on Sunday, Kygo joined Santos in the kitchen with Santos to learn how to assemble the dessert as chef walked him through the process. Marquee Dayclub headliner deejay Thomas Jack decided get in on the action and try some of the dessert himself.
The dessert is a collaboration between Kygo, Santos and Beauty & Essex pastry chef Jaime Sudburg. The dessert features a dark chocolate torte, pecan graham crumble, marshmallow brûlée clouds, white and dark chocolate sauce and blue swipe that is painted on the plate to resemble the "Cloud Nine" album cover.
