Scheduled to debut June 15, chef Bryan Ogden is returning to Las Vegas to become part of the latest dining upgrade to Boca Park, The Mixx Grill & Lounge. Self-described as "a premier dining destination for locals," the 9,000-square foot space takes over the shuttered Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, next door to the under construction Panacea Tea & Elixir Bar from Shane Stuart.
Listed as the owner and operator of The Mixx is JP Teresi, the former general manager of Bryan's father's namesake restaurant Bradley Ogden at Caesars Palace and until last year, the general manager of Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris Las Vegas. The Ogden space was ultimately replaced by Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill.
Featuring an outdoor patio, The Mixx so far is promising "choices of 28 social plates, world-influenced and inspired cuisine & cocktails, and some of the top DJs from around the world." Inside, expect "a myriad of vivid colors and breathtaking design elements" and "a vast selection of wine, champagne and cocktails."
Bryan Odgen was most prominently last seen in Las Vegas overseeing Munchbar at Caesars Palace, which gave way to the arrival of Searsucker. Ogden Sr.'s last local home, Bradley Ogden's Hops & Harvest, was located very close to Boca Park in Tivoli Village and closed in late 2013 to make way for Made LV, who just announced they will be soon be turning into PKWY Tavern.
Bradley Ogden Hospitality had been very active in Houston with their Funky Chicken and Bradley's Fine Diner concepts, until both shuttered earlier this year.
