Big changes in the kitchen at Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group’s Las Vegas restaurants. First up, chef Nicole Brisson moves up to culinary director overseeing all of the Vegas locations. She takes the reigns from chef Jason Neve, who leaves Las Vegas to open Eataly in Boston this fall.
Brisson was the executive chef of Carnevino at the Palazzo. Now Jon Littleton takes her place there. Littleton thinks of this as a return since he was a sous chef there before working as the executive chef at B&B Burger & Beer at the Venetian. Before that, he was an executive chef at Lake Las Vegas.
Chef Elisabeth McGee moves up to executive chef at B&B Burger & Beer, where she’ll be in charge of the gourmet burgers and sandwiches there. She was a master cook at Michael Mina at the Bellagio and chef de partie at Bartolotta at Wynn Las Vegas.
Chef Brett Uniss left his job at Andiron Steak & Sea at Downtown Summerlin to take on the executive chef job at B&B Ristorante at the Venetian.
