Danny "Count" Koker, star of the History channel's Counting Cars, spends his TV career making deals to restore and flip classic cars and bikes. All signs are confirming he might have made one of his biggest deals yet, to become the sole owner of his bar and concert venue.
Local real estate trackers Power Broker Confidential are reporting the formerly leased 6,769-square-foot Count's Vamp'd Rock Bar & Grill has been sold to the grill owners for $2,550,000. Vamp'd is operated by TCB Las Vegas LLC, whose sole company officer is Danny Koker. A Clark County sale deed confirms the Count's Vamp'd was sold earlier this month.
UPDATE - Legal representatives have clarified the specific details of the sale: "Kimberly D Koker, Mary F Koker and Daniel N Koker II, purchased the building and land and are leasing it to TCB Las Vegas, LLC."
Open daily from 11 a.m. to around 4 a.m., Count's Vamp'd schedules hard rocking and frequently, legendary heavy metal acts four nights a week, with a committed devotion to eighties icons like Saxon, Y&T, Quiet Riot and Lita Ford.
The bar and grill debuted in early 2011, taking over Feelgoods, one of many former local ventures featuring Mötley Crüe's Vince Neil as their public figurehead. The vampire inspired Vamp'd serves a full casual American menu including "Pink Floyd Penne Pasta," "Flying V's Fish & Chips" and the "Free Bird Chicken Dinner."
Koker's local empire also includes the Count's Kustoms chopper and hot rod shop and Count's Tattoo at the Rio.
