Utah institution Kneaders Bakery & Cafe had already earned a loyal cadre of long-distance Las Vegas fans before it debuted its first Nevada expansion in April. Now, comes confirmation customers won't have to travel to Henderson to sample their in-house baked goods, but will soon be able to make the pilgrimage to the north west.
Currently hiring, the company is telling potential employees they plan to debut in early July, a little later than previously estimated. Built from the ground up, Kneaders will sit close to the intersection of Craig Road and Tenaya Way at an under construction, 2.3-acre retail pad, adjacent to the Golden Desert Plaza retail center home of Saffron Flavors of India.
Just like fans of fellow cult-favorite Chick-fil-A, local Kneaders aficionados were known to drive to Utah to stock up on their 12 varieties of homemade bread, 42 choices of pastries and soups, sandwiches and salads.
Opening hours on Craig Road are expected to be Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The majority of the chain's 47 locations across six states are closed on Sundays.
