Celebrating its third anniversary earlier this year, chef Felix Arellano's Viva Las Arepas is cryptically alerting its loyal customers they will be debuting a new location, "soon."

Located on the southwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Oakey Boulevard, Arellano serves the only seated Venezuelan menu in Las Vegas.

While the future home is under wraps, a clue might be found in the name of Arellano's latest company, Arepa Plaza LLC, formed in March.

Arellano began his local journey in the parking lot of Dino's Lounge, subsequently home to The Goodwich. After a very short move south into the former Harry O's BBQ, he created the must-visit home of cornmeal patties, arepas and wood-fired chicken, beef and pork.

In 2013 he expanded right next door to debut Art of Flavors, an artisanal batch gelato shop, with pastry chef Douglas Taylor, a veteran of Mario Batali's restaurants at the Venetian and the Palazzo now replacing the departed Desyreé Alberganti.
