Just a few weeks ago, Southern California's Burger Lounge was warning fans they would have to wait until June before their first out-of-state expansion would debut in Las Vegas. A new update has very quickly moved up their arrival date.
Aria is announcing the burger chain with a "health-conscious" approach, will debut on May 15, replacing shuttered coffee kiosk The Roasted Bean, a few short steps from the neighboring poker room.
Burger Lounge's reputation is based around their grass-fed burger, made with "100% American, single source, never frozen beef," plus options like organic cheese and house-made Thousand Island dressing. Their Lounge Bun is made with a "blend of organic wheat and white flour" and they also offer a gluten-free bun.
CEO J. Dean Loring revealed to The San Diego Union-Tribune that MGM Resorts first approached him "a few years ago" about a partnership. Aria will run the restaurant, while Burger Lounge will "help oversee the venue" as a profit-sharing venture. if successful, Loring also announced, "We may have an interest in opening additional locations in Vegas, either on the Strip partnering with MGM or in other areas in Vegas."
