630 days since first revealed, Wahlburgers may finally, really, truly be ready to bring a grilled taste of Hingham, Massachusetts to the Strip.
Next week, the company fronted by chef Paul Wahlberg and his celebrity brothers Donnie and Mark Wahlberg begins an open call hiring process at their ground-floor Grand Bazaar Shops home. They will be filling all positions and bolstering the suspicion they are readying to debut in time for the July 4 weekend.
A retail store, with a temporary vinyl sign, has also debuted a few steps from Las Vegas Boulevard and staff has been whispering to guests to look to July for the burgers to start flipping. Counter tops and equipment are already installed inside the main restaurant.
Located at the rear of the open-air mall, close to the entrance to Bally's Las Vegas, the brand will join the under construction Giordano's and their famed, deep dish Chicago-style pizza, the already open 24-hour Starbucks and the newly revealed Redneck Riviera honky-tonk bar from country music star John Rich as the four dining and drinking anchors.
Wahlburgers will be bringing their full menu, including the O.F.D. burger, "Alma's Favorite Chicken sandwich" and Mark Wahlberg's choice, a Thanksgiving day turkey and stuffing lettuce wrap, plus specialty cocktails, frappes and "Nona's homemade ice cream."
Once it arrives, opening hours will be Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
