The owners of The Venue Las Vegas don't like to be rushed. It took eight years from inception to debut for their 36,000-square-foot event center to finally arrive on Fremont East. Sitting opposite the Container Park, original plans had called for additional expansions to include a pizza lounge and comedy club open to the general public. While those ambitions appear to have vanished, their ground-level lounge is now welcoming downtown revelers, if only for a limited time per week.
Promising an "elevated cocktail experience," VirtueVice is currently open on Fridays and Saturdays, from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Accessed via its own corner entrance, the interior features the distinctive long bar and curved booth seating visible in early designs and the roomy lounge also permits access to upper level patio seating with views of downtown and The Venue's rooftop space, normally reserved for private events.

Once hoped to be ready for Labor Day 2015, the lounge intended to serve small bites from the Venue's Scottsdale, Arizona-based executive chef Matthew Contreras. No current cocktail, wine or dining menu has yet been published.
