Cracker Barrel will be debuting two Old Country Store's in Las Vegas this summer and their location at the Silverton is well on its way to meeting a promised July 25 debut date, the first of a series of major upgrades to the resort's huge exterior footprint.
The 9,113-square-foot restaurant will land on a 40,179-square-foot section once used to sell watercraft close to the Bass Pro Shops retail complex. Alongside Cracker Barrel's familiar Southern-themed breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, they will be including the chain's famous retail store.
Also planned for the Silverton, a retail center on the opposite site of the resort. New paperwork has been filed to add a 4,400-square-foot Panera Bread, plus a 1,600-square-foot Starbucks in the first wave of tenants. A separate 7,500-square-foot building is also far along in the permit stage, with tentative plans for a "pizza shop, a sandwich shop, a smoothie shop" plus one bonus tenant yet to be considered. No timetable for these arrivals has been announced.
And look out for a brand new "decorative water feature" to be constructed between the timeshare building and the main hotel entrance.
The second Cracker Barrel at 2815 E. Craig Road, across from an In-N-Out Burger in North Las Vegas, appears to be lagging behind in construction, but still hopes to debut in July.
