Bryce Krausman and Dalton Wilson of DW Bistro say they plan to close their restaurant in the Southwest this August and reopen in the space that was supposed to become DW Kitchen & Market at the Gramercy. The duo, who serve up a menu of New Mexican and Jamaican fare, plan to take over the former Mundo space again during the Las Vegas Market in September, just as they did back in January.
Krausman tells Vegas Seven that the Gramercy location just didn’t work as a market, but the complex wanted DW to be an anchor tenant. The six-year lease the pair have on their Fort Apache location ends in August.
Expect lunch and brunch as well as "an elevated dinner, kind of up the ante a little bit." Pastries normally only found on Sundays show up daily.
Look for a Labor Day opening.
DW Kitchen & Market originally planned to open at the Gramercy in December with baked goods, flowers, a wine bar, retail items, prepped foods and cooking classes.
