COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS — D.O.C.G. ends its lunch service for the summer season starting on Saturday, June 25. Look for lunch to return in the fall. Dinner service continues. Carry on. [EaterWire]

GOLDEN NUGGET — Head to The Tank with its outdoor swimming pool and 200,000-gallon, live shark aquarium for Shark Week specials including shark bites (chicken nuggets of the seas), fish and chips (breaded fillets with fried potato wedges), fish bait (breaded catfish nuggets with sweet potato fries and spicy tartar sauce). Drinks are served in shark souvenir cups. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN SUMMERLIN — Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken’s July sandwich of the month is The Smorgasbird with two classic Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken cutlets, stacked high with caramelized pineapple, shredded lettuce, tomato, crunchy pickled cucumbers, and doused with Blue Ribbon special sauce, then stuffed with “Game Day Fries” (fries with barbecue pulled chicken, aged cheddar, sour cream and smoked bacon). The restaurant donates $5 from each Smorgasbird to the Multiple Sclerosis Society to help raise awareness and support funding for research and treatment. Finish the sandwich in under five minutes, then post your photo/video on social media and tag a friend who should take on the challenge (using @BlueRibbonFC #smorgasbird). You’ll even be entered in a drawing to win a Hail Mary Platter for more fried chicken. [EaterWire]
