Say so long to The Beat Coffeehouse & Records. Eureka!, a restaurant group out of Hawthorne, California, plans to open a 177-seat restaurant in the space. Neighboring Emergency Arts will condense its space in the building.
By mid-2017, guests will dine on locally sourced ingredients in the dishes and drink classic cocktails, small batch whiskeys and 40 craft beers.
The menu features a Napa chicken sandwich with a grilled chicken breast, roasted Roma tomato, pesto, Havarti and pancetta; fried chicken sliders with mashed potatoes, reaper chili sauce and confetti slaw; and all-day breakfast burrito stuffed with steak, potatoes, peppers, ranchero sauce and fried egg; pan-seared salmon sauteed in sauvignon blanc with asparagus, zucchini, red onion, red pepper, fennel, roasted beets, avocado, arugula and lemon vinaigrette; an 8-ounce New York steak with red grilled asparagus and saffron crema; and slow-roasted pork ribs with an orange chili sauce, chimichurri and confetti coleslaw.
Salads, burgers and tacos also make the menu.
Eureka! promises to bring weekly "Steal the Glass" where one beer a week is served in the brewery’s glass and guests can take it home.
Eureka! is the first of several projects from IKE Gaming Inc., which owns the building.
