Here's what Kerry Simon's last restaurant will offer

Come late summer, Kerry Simon’s final restaurant debuts in the former Firefly space in Henderson and already the gastro-lounge with a feminine touch is starting to tease some of the menu.

Simon Hospitality Group and Titan Brands, the company behind Hussong’s Cantina and Slice of Vegas, team up on Standard & Pour to serve social plates. Co-owner and chef Cory Harwell and culinary director of Simon Hospitality Group John Courtney created the menu here that includes port wine mac n' cheese and escargot Wellington.

“Our culinary team has created an approachable menu that will get patrons excited and willing to eat 'outside of the box', and keep coming back for more," Harwell said in a press statement.

Jake Dieleman, who is currently the executive sous chef of Carson Kitchen, takes over as executive chef of Standard & Pour.

The restaurant also features a panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip, feature indoor and outdoor seating, bar and open kitchen, and space for up to 130 guests.

Standard & Pour at 11261 S Eastern Ave. in Henderson plans to be open seven days a week for dinner.
