Just four months ago, local fans of Kneaders Bakery & Cafe could only pick up their house-made "European hearth breads" during a road trip through Utah. In just a matter of days they will have two Las Vegas locations to discover why the brand has earned a cult-following.

Kneaders will debut close to the intersection of Craig Road and Tenaya Way on Friday, July 15. The custom built cafe sits on a new 2.3-acre retail pad, adjacent to the Golden Desert Plaza retail center home of Saffron Flavors of India.

In April, their Henderson branch launched at the corner of Pecos Ridge and Eastern and has already seen very loyal business during the breakfast and lunch rush.

Last year the company promised "we have a few locations scheduled for Las Vegas and Nevada," but so far these two sites are the only confirmed expansions.

"Hearth breads" are the core of their sandwich success, but the full menu also includes soups, salads, breakfast items and over three dozen pastries including a "hot German chocolate bread pudding" and a "red velvet mini Bundt cake"

Opening hours on Craig Road are expected to be Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The majority of the chain's 47 locations across six states are closed on Sundays.
