FORUM SHOPS AT CAESARS — Join chef Wolfgang Puck at Sip & Savor, his fourth annual fundraiser for Keep Memory Alive on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Spago. Last year the event donated $25,000. Chefs from each of Puck’s six Las Vegas restaurants will present their signature dishes, paired with some of their favorite wines. THE LINQ — Bravo’s Top Chef MastersRick Moonen, Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger and Hubert Keller will create the dinner attraction on Oct. 13 at the Cool Comedy-Hot Cuisine fundraising event to benefit the Scleroderma Research Foundation at Brooklyn Bowl. Hosted by actor and comedian Bill Bellamy, the event begins with cocktails at 6.30 p.m. Featuring noted comedians and special musical guests, a live auction overseen by Absinthe stars The Gazillionaire and Penny will include once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as a Napa Valley adventure and in-home Top Chef Masters dinners. VENETIAN — DB Brasserie’s award-winning head sommelier Devin Zendel will host a special wine dinner at the restaurant on Friday, Oct. 14, at 6:30 p.m. Spotlighting wines from The Boisset Collection, the dinner will be paired with a four-course dinner created by chef Daniel Boulud and executive chef Vincent Pouessel featuring hamachi crudo, roasted Sonoma squab and a duo of slow braised beef cheeks and grilled NY strip. PARIS LAS VEGAS —  The Eiffel Tower Restaurant will host the Miner Family Winery on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. A previous "Winery of the Year" honoree from Wine & Spirits Magazine, wines being tasted include Napa Chardonnay, 2013, Gary's Vineyard Pinot Noir, 2013, Oracle Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2012 and Emily's Cuvee and Cabernet Sauvignon, 2013. SOUTHEAST — Create A Change Now, a local charity teaching at-risk students to plant, grow and cook fresh healthy meals in order to prevent childhood obesity, will host its second annual Edible Education Dinner at Panevino Ristorante on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The four-course dinner event will also feature live entertainment from the Las Vegas Academy of The Arts Jazz Combo, and a guest presentation by Dr. Tony Gumina as he discusses the childhood obesity epidemic in America and explores our future if eating and lifestyle habits don’t improve. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of silent auction items including a trip to Napa, a Disneyland family-pack, health and wellness opportunities and an array of local hotel-casino stays. COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS — The resort and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits hosts Crafts & Cocktails, an outdoor craft beer and cocktail experience at Boulevard Pool, on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 6 to 10 p.m. Guests will have an opportunity to sample 75 craft beers from a variety of local, regional and international breweries as well as a selection of unique cocktail creations. Notable breweries at this year’s festival include Great Basin Brewing Co., Big Dog’s Brewing Co., Firestone Walker Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing Co. and Anchor Brewing Co. DOWNTOWN SUMMERLIN — Andiron Steak & Sea holds an Alpine Ranch dinner on Thursday, Aug. 25, at 6:30 p.m. for $59 with a $25 optional wine pairing. The dinner starts with a bacon bourbon welcome cocktail paired with jalapeño bacon churros, barbecue pork belly steam buns and liver pate toast, followed by a summer salad of shaved herb porchetta, heirloom tomato, sweet gem lettuce and corn fritter with a roasted peach vinaigrette. The main course features a pig feast with a whole roasted rack, kale gremalata, braised shoulder and fig pork jus, along with sides for the table. WESTSIDE — Honey Salt continues its guest chef series with Sheridan Su of Fat Choy and Flock & Fowl on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 6:30 p.m. for $54 per person with an optional $25 wine pairing. Starters include kaya toast with coconut jam and a quail egg; marinated watermelon with lemongrass, aged sweet soy and micro cress; Fat Choy’s signature pork belly bao with preserved mustard greens, crushed peanuts and cilantro; and a welcome cocktail called lychee’s knees. An appetizer of corn soup with a bacon corn beignet follows. The main course features Flock & Fowl’s Hainan chicken rice with a trio of Mary’s free range chicken that is poached, roasted and fried and paired with house made ginger scallion, house made soy, chile sauce and house-aged sweet soy sauces.
