Sunrise’s FatBoy Restaurant is expanding 16 miles to the south and will be serving their specialty "boygers" in Henderson within a few short weeks.

Their original location at the corner of at the corner of Stewart and Lamb has been an in-the-know locals' favorite since 2005. Their second home is being constructed at the Amador Plaza on W. Horizon Ridge Pkwy, neighboring Valley Cheese & Wine. The team hopes to be open by August.

Well known for customer service and a very loyal fan base, the FatBoy menu is based around "boygers," "burritos" and their twist on fast casual fare. Prepared daily and never frozen, specialties include the "double cheese," "double monster" and a pastrami version of their boyger, which arrives with mustard, onions, pickles and mayo.

Their Philly cheese steaks have a following, as do their "Chencho Fries," a unique FatBoy creation, topped with green sauce, grilled onions, chopped chicken and melted cheese.

In Sunrise, the restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m to 9 p.m., but further details of the Henderson home have yet to be announced.
