Maggiano's Little Italy has been a fixture of the Strip’s Fashion Show mall since 2004 and are well on their way to creating a hard-to miss expansion for the next generation of mall-dwellers at Downtown Summerlin.
Now hiring and promising future staff to look forward to a fall debut, the oversized 9,732-square-foot restaurant is quickly being built on Rosemary Drive, not far from the Dining Arroyo district, home to California Pizza Kitchen and the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.
For construction alone, the structure has allocated an estimated budget of $2.8 million for the restaurant and its own bar. Maggiano's owner Brinker International operates and franchises 1,647 restaurants, with 51 under the Maggiano's Little Italy brand and 1,596 Chili's Grill & Bar locations. They are already promoting the Summerlin branch can be hired to cater local events. "Carryout" and "private banquet rooms" are also part of the plan.
Unlike their Strip location, Maggiano’s is currently not scheduled to be open for lunch during the week. The parent company is projecting to serve their large portions of Italian-American dishes, including pastas, salads, steaks and fish on Monday to Thursday from 3 to 10 p.m., and 11 p.m. on Friday, plus Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 11 a.m until 9 p.m. on Sundays.
An exact opening date has yet to be revealed.
