Poke bowls and sushi burritos continue to be the hottest casual trend in Las Vegas, with latest arrival Sweet Poke already expanding after less than a month in their first location and yet another one is on the way.
Sweet Poke debuted at the Centennial Gateway Retail Center in June, in the same block as a Subway and Smashburger. The simple menu is based around guests choosing between an $8.99 sushi burrito or their $8.99 and $11.50 bowls.
While customers can build their own creations, the brand's city-inspired tried and tested concoctions include the 808, built with "ahi tuna, ogolimu, Hawaiian sea salt, chili flake, green onion and sweet onion with sesame shoyu sauce" or the Vegas, filled with "salmon, cream cheese, avocado and furikake with eel sauce."
Sides include miso soup, a seaweed salad and mochi ice cream. The $6.99 kid's menu offers a salmon burrito and an apple juice.
Sweet Poke's second home will launch on July 8, taking the company to the southwest and close to Windmill Lane at 7965 S. Rainbow Blvd. A third location will bounce them over to the eastside at 215 and Eastern, but that arrival date has yet to be announced.
Within the next few weeks, poke fans can also look forward to a second location for Henderson's Soulfish Poke and newcomer Tail & Fin.
