Groundbreaking took place last December, but the future expansion of downtown's Makers & Finders to Henderson's Water St. is unmistakably taking shape. Set to occupy the ground floor of a purpose built, 6,500-square-foot office building, architects Tate Snyder Kimsey will occupy the second floor.
Dubbed Southend on Water, an estimated $500,004 was allocated in construction costs to create the shell building, with TSK purposely reaching out to Makers & Finders to be their downstairs neighbor.

Aiming for an early 2017 debut, the project ultimately hopes funding will be found for an adjacent second phase, creating residential buildings and new, street level commercial space on the empty lots southeast of City Hall.
Henderson customers can expect a familiar menu to the Arts District original, including their version of "Latin Comfort Foods," arepas, empanadas, Ceviche de Camarones, "sofrito sliders," plus a "V60 Pourover Drip," cold brewed creations and Cuban espressos.
