A New York street food legend since 1990, The Halal Guys cart on West 53rd & 6th Avenue has blossomed into a growing empire with 16 nationwide bricks and mortar locations and many more to come, including the Philippines and South Korea, all based around a simple menu and some very addictive sauces.
Their first Las Vegas branch debuts on August 12, inside the former On The Mat Fight Shop at 3755 Spring Mountain Road, Suite 101, in Spring Mountain Square.
The compact 1,752-square-foot space has limited seating, but adds a few items that expand on the original, very limited cart menu.
Customers can order $7.99 sandwiches, or $9.99 platters of chicken, beef gyro or falafel with rice or a combo of chicken and gyro. New sides are the $4.99 hummus or baba ghanouj and $2.99 crinkle cut fires. They have also added a $2.49 baklava dessert.
The Halal Guys still have an eye on eventually expanding downtown and to The Strip.
